Inevitability
“Failure at some point is inevitable, but giving up is unforgivable.”
You will fail.
But knowing this should fear you less.
By knowing that at some point in your life you will fail, and fail again, and fail again, you should not be scared. You know it will happen, therefore it should not fear you.
WHAT IS UNAVOIDABLE SHOULD NOT BE FEARED.
Acceptance of whatever happens is what will make you unstoppable.
I used to never accept that something was over. I would try to hold on to every little piece of that memory that I could. I would try to relive it as many times over and be angry that it is over. I couldn’t accept the fact that time passes and things change so I was lost in the memory of moments that I didn’t want to end.
At some point, I began to accept that things change. I began to accept that time passing is unavoidable, inevitable. By accepting that, I was able to optimize my time better. I was able to start making the most out of the moments I live rather than wishing that I could go back to the ones that are over.
People have a hard time embracing change. They have a hard time embracing the passing of time. They have a hard time accepting that it won’t be the same as it was.
But those who do accept this, live the fullest, most fulfilling, happiest lives. They know that time is limited and they are okay with it. They are fine with the fact that they won’t be here forever because it reminds them to live the best life while they can.
Become unfazed by risk. Be calm in the face of fear.
Do not fear what will happen.
Be prepared for failure. Be prepared for change. Be prepared for pain.
The more prepared you are, the less surprised you are when it happens.
Embrace what is inevitable.
